South India’s MegaStar -The Legend, PadmaBhushan Dr. Chiranjeevi, called chiru by all, completed 29 successful years in Telugu Film Industry by today, as chiru’s first movie ‘Praanam Khareedu’ flashed on silver screen on 22nd september 1978.

Chiranjeevi is ruling Telugu film industry in the No.1 position for last 25 years, and became the role model for millions of people irrespective of their soical category. People Love chiru not only for his heroism on the screen, they worship chiru for his offscreen stature, social services.. and for his love/care for the society and fans.
In this 29 years journey, Chiranjeevi created so many records in Film Industry, and set a bench mark.
For his work in cinema & service to society, Chiranjeevi recieved prestigious Padma Bhushan award from Govt of India, and Doctorate from Andhra university.
MegaStar is the one and only Telugu Hero to get Best Actor FilmFare Awards for 7 times and recently honoured by Legendary award by the FilmFare.
